2ND Annual LCA Charity Golf Classic

The 2ND Annual Lambda Chi Alpha Charity Golf Classic was a huge success and a great time for everyone!  The tournament was held on October 27, 2006 at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course in Encinitas, CA.  The event kicked off at 10:30 am with range balls and registration.  We had 40 SDSU Pi Phi hotties helping out with pictures and registration.

The Shotgun / 4 man scramble Tournament kicked off at 12:30 pm.  118 brothers participated in the tournament.  The contest winners included:

A silent auction followed the tournament.  We had awesome donations from our sponsors including a surfboard, a wetsuit and a variety of apparel, skateboards and other gear.  The auction was followed by a sit down dinner and awards ceremony. The course cut us off from the bar, but the Lasagna was good.  Aside from the $1,800 in damage to the golf carts and $550 we had to pay for auctioning off 10 boxes of golf shoes from the course’s pro shop, the event was a terrific success!
